burn. ("we", "our", "the app") is a subscription tracking app for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Account Data: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information from those services.
Subscription Data: The subscriptions you add to burn. (service names, amounts, dates, categories) are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
Usage Data: We do not collect analytics, usage data, or tracking information. We do not use any third-party analytics services.
Your subscription data is stored locally on your device. Account authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). We do not store your passwords — authentication is managed entirely by Firebase.
If you use iCloud sync (premium feature), your data is stored in your personal iCloud account, encrypted by Apple.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Profile > Delete Account. This permanently removes your Firebase account and all local data.
You can export your subscription data from Settings > Export Data (premium feature).
burn. is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
