burn. ("we", "our", "the app") is a subscription tracking app for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
No Account: burn. has no accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address or password.
Subscription Data: The subscriptions you add to burn. (service names, amounts, dates, categories) are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
Crash Reports: If the app crashes, an anonymous crash report (device model, iOS version, app version and the technical stack trace) is sent to Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix the bug. Crash reports contain no subscription data and are not linked to your identity.
Usage Data: We do not collect analytics, usage data, or tracking information. We do not use any third-party analytics services.
Your subscription data is stored locally on your device. We do not run servers that hold your subscription data.
If you use iCloud sync (premium feature), your data is stored in your personal iCloud account, encrypted by Apple.
You can delete any subscription in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes all data stored on your device. If you use iCloud sync, you can remove the synced data from iOS Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage.
You can export your subscription data from Settings > Export Data (premium feature).
burn. is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
